Poshmark entered the Toronto market and needed a Toronto PR partner to support on-the-ground in building a community that would help their marketplace thrive north of the border. As the company’s first expansion outside of the US, Poshmark required a combination of consumer education, community outreach and awareness PR. Talk Shop supported the company’s foray into the Toronto market with both influencer and media relations, pitching business, trend, lifestyle and consumer angles to media across Canada, leveraging an event to drive interest.
Talk Shop secured 50 pieces of coverage, reaching more than 60M impressions, spanning fashion and lifestyle outlets, including Refinery29, Daily Hive and the Globe and Mail. Additionally, over 50 media attended the Toronto launch event, which garnered over 1M social media impressions.
